This is a wonderful story – both in terms of story and how it’s written. Would you flip out if I told you I never connected you/this blog to the Vickie from Red Oak? Is that wild? Anyway, the story was amazing and I loved it.

Jan, thanks for the nice words about my story. I can understand why you wouldn’t make the connection. I was looking through my blog and I didn’t find my name anywhere on any of the pages. Sometimes I really have to laugh at myself! So now I added my name to my blog.

What a lovely story! So descriptive and relatable (as someone who used to go fishing with her younger brother back in the day).
